A Garrick Club Miscellany Back

The Garrick Club was founded in 1831, to promote the interests of drama and to bring together patrons with leading theatrical figures – traditions that the Club maintains today. Named for David Garrick, the nonpareil actor of the 18th century, within a few years the Club began to form the library and art collections that have become famous around the world.

This talk by Dr Moira Goff will pursue David Garrick and Shakespeare through the Garrick Club’s varied and unique collections, from books and manuscripts to paintings and memorabilia.
